Maiden Event
The maiden event was held at Alisa Hotel on 30th May, 09 and Twenty (20) distinguished and outstanding Women were honoured and awarded in their various fields of discipline which includes, Dr Mary Grant-Legendary Woman, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings- Women Empowerment Award, Mrs Grace Obeng-Outstanding Beautician, Maame Afia Konadu- Outstanding Female Presenter and etc.

The Ghana Women Awards is an evidence-based awards scheme, designed to project the impact, hard work and the dedicated service the nominees render in the society. Their various achievements and impact are measured and documented in a form of video documentary and telecast on TV3 as motivational tool to inspire the youth and the Girl Child.
